I have lived on Kent Island for 20 years, but grew up in Severna Park, Maryland. I got started in Real Estate by accident. I was looking for another career for my husband to expand into. I decided to take the real estate course myself to see if this would be something my husband would be interested in, and ended up falling in love with it for myself.
Right from graduating from high school, I entered into a full-time volunteer ministry work, and traveled to numerous places within the country using my skills in the ministerial work to aid others. I supported myself through various jobs, which involved regular contact with the public. Then in 1995, through a college in Georgia, I received a degree in Medical Transcription and began working in a local medical facility.
Then in 2003 I began the steps needed to enter the Real Estate Business and was licensed that very year. I have been recognized thus far in my career as the 2006 recepient of Rookie Realtor of the Year Award, 2006 Silver Volume Award, a member of the Chamber of Commerce, designated as an Accredited Buyer's Representative, and currently working on designation as a Certified Residential Specialist, learning a foreign language, and involved with the local Cancer Society.
My hobbies include reading, dancing, fishing, crabbing, and working in the yard. I love college basketball, Baltimore Orioles, and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
